COMPANY HISTORY

MMG is an owner-managed company with a long tradition in the aluminium market and has managed to retain the character of a family business despite its transformation into a public limited company and its international activities.  

MMG history

1994

The company was founded in April 1994 as GmbH & Co. KG in Mayen by Günter Strobel.

1998

MMG is converted into a public limited company.

2001

Foundation of the subsidiary MFT Metall-Form-Technik Kft. in Varpalota/Hungary as a forging company under the management of Dieter Wolf.

2014

Foundation of the subsidiary MFT Vertriebs GmbH in Mayen.

2016/2017

Construction of the new company building in Eichenstraße 41 in Mayen and relocation in March 2017.
